Pumpkin Patch | Part 1

Occasionally, though not as often as we would like, we get out of the busy city.  Its October and that means its harvest time!  We made time for our favorite farm destination this last Saturday for some hardcore pumpkin picking.
It was pretty hardcore....
it rained the whole time we were out in the field.  And by rain, I don't mean sprinkle....I mean a "Noah, gather the animals" kind of torrential downpour!  Craziness!  But I assure you, it stopped as soon as we reached cover, a little too late for our clothing and body temperatures.
But...it was a lovely time with my boys, filled with hot cider, caramel apples and muddy little boy boots.

  1. Great photos! That caramel apple looks worth the rain. I have been wanting to take my daughter to a pumpkin patch, but it just seems miserable with this rain and neither one of us have rain boots!

  2. Love the pics! We went to Krugers as well. Loved it there. So nice to be in the open air and be surrounded by fall. Too bad it was raining for y'all- Looks like that didn't stop the fun :)
