Baby # 2 | 28 Weeks

How many weeks pregnant?: 28! Third Tri Baby!

Weight gain?:  20 lbs, exactly.

Cravings?: Apples, still.  And coffee, though I rarely let myself have any.  Rarely.  It just smells soooo good to me!  This is funny to be only because when I was pregnant with JJ I could not STAND the smell of coffee...it smelled like butt me me.  Not this time, baby girl likes her java!

Food aversions?:  This seems to be pretty calm compared to previous weeks.

How are you feeling?:  Okay, overall.  The exhaustion is coming back full force though.

Best pregnancy moment so far?: Continual good news with our baby girls health!

Baby's name?:  Still curious?

Boy or girl?:  GIRL!

Baby is: Somewhere between 2lbs and 3 lbs I am guessing, as she was already over 2 lbs 2 weeks ago.  She is getting bigger though, and taking up more room.  The last few days I have been pretty amazed at how long she is!  I can feel things like legs and arms now, giving a new perspective on her size.  Shes getting ready!

Wearing maternity clothes?: Yes, and my parents were nice enough to supply me with a few more shirts.  I was really relishing in the trailer trash, beer gut sort of look...but I thought it was time to move on:P

Other notes: Our next midwife appointment is tomorrow, and its exciting as always.  I am getting very impatient now, wanting to nest and get ready for her arrival ( somewhere around 12 weeks away).  Its still a little hard to wrap my head around having a girl pretty soon...such a different world for me.  And TWO...I can't believe I have two kids!  How'd that happen?  (I joke, I jest, I know how it happened....I was there:P)

Our "Baby celebration" is coming up in two weeks.  We opted for a co-ed get together instead of a tradition baby shower for a few reasons: 1. I have already had one of those.  2.  Half of our friends are boys...so we wanted them there too. 3. A night of dessert and coffee sounded like a lot more fun this time!
