Sew Lovely

(Source)

The rainy weather is a perfect time to sit down in front of my sewing machine(s) and get to that pile that's been beckoning my name for weeks now.  The problem is I look at sewing as a treat for me, and not necessarily a to do list. Great news for me!  Not so great news for that pile.  I have a few projects that I will be sharing this coming week (if I ever finish them) but for today, today I am going to sew.  Guilt free.  and even before I do some laundry!

But since that isn't much of a post and I want to leave you with a sewing bug too, here is some weekend inspiration for your fingers and brain to tackle!

-This lovely tutorial for fabric nesting bowls, we all could use some organizing, lets face it!
-And to go along with that one, this nested fabric bucket tutorial  from Whipstich
-This laptop/ ipad/ Kindle sleeve tutorial. from The Cottage Home
-This Made by Marzipan Stroller bag video tutorial, or the Bicycle Satchel video tutorial.  Or anything on that site, really!
-Some sewing basics from E Tells Tales
-This kitchen set tutorial from I Have To Say!  If your like me you spend a lot of time in the kitchen, so make it pretty for you!
-This Hanging Stuff Holder tutorial from Make It and Love It, because, again, we all could use some organizing.  Just face facts!
-Another hanging organizer from (gasp!) Martha Steward, but its made out of a towel, so its cool.
-This book caddy for your littles from sew4home
-This Anthropology inspired Duvet Cover tutorial from Made By Lex

Happy weekend & happy creating!
